Research Park and Technology Innovation (PIIT) is a technological and scientific park of fourth generation based on the triple helix model, which is a partnership between government, universities and private initiative to seek economic growth through innovation. The PIIT has an area of 70 hectares in its first phase with necessary infrastructure and services to host 30 world-class research centers devoted to R & D and development of technology-based companies.
The strategic areas but not exclusive to develop in the park are: Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Mechatronics and advanced manufacturing, Information Technologies, Sustainable Housing, Health, Clean energy & Advanced Materials

The Center for Innovation and Strategic Product Design (CIDEP)seeks to promote the development of technology-based companies, facilitate technology transfer activities and accelerate the commercialization of new technologies.
Areas of focus: Manufacture, Mechatronics, Advanced Materials, Robotics & Aerospace
